
Amy Epstein Gluck
Attorney
Amy has practiced law for more than 10 years in Federal and state district courts in Washington, D.C. and Virginia, before federal administrative tribunals, and in mediation. Her practice areas have included:
- Commercial Litigation, including complex lender liability actions against multiple parties as well as contract and tort claims between large institutional entities;
- General and Complex Civil Litigation, including premises liability, personal injury defense, professional legal malpractice, shareholder/partnership issues, civil rights/discrimination, and wrongful death litigation;
- Administrative Law, and Government Contracts and Grants concerning audits, terminations for cause, non-selection, and debarment proceedings including reversal of federal government debarment order for government contractor named in OIG’s Semi Annual Report to Congress, causing federal agency to make embarrassing admissions in subsequent report to Congress;
- Class Action Litigation in multi-jurisdictional commercial lease guaranty cases in state and federal courts in connection with a major corporate bankruptcy in New York, invalidating more than $70 million in commercial lease guaranties on a novel limited guaranty theory; and
- General Corporate/Securities Litigation.
In addition, Amy writes for on-line periodicals. In March 2009, Washington Parent published an article on its website, www.washingtonparent.com, and she has written blogs about work/life balance issues on www.darlinghill.com and on www.worklifeinitiative.com.
Amy received her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School, and she received her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University. She lives in Maryland with her husband, three children, and beagle.
