Jeffrey Carll Coffman

Jeffrey Carll Coffman has focused his practice on complex criminal and civil litigation. He has represented corporations and individuals in numerous actions involving issues arising from business transactions and commercial contracts. He has also handled cases involving mail and wire fraud, health care fraud, money laundering, criminal antitrust, possession and distribution of controlled substances, false statements, unauthorized computer access, and tax evasion crimes.

Jeff earned degrees in Finance and Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, and received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. After graduating from law school, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James C. Cacheris, United States District Judge, Eastern District of Virginia. He is a member of the bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the District of Columbia and the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. Jeff is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar Association, the Criminal Law and Individual Rights Section of the District of Columbia Bar, and the Criminal Law Section of the Virginia State Bar.
